I'm Helena, owner and founder of Crafty Like Me and here im stood at a craft market selling my wire woven jewellery.
I started selling beads and craft products many years ago through eBay for a bit of extra money so I could hopefully one day leave my full time job and live the dream of being self employed. In 2016 I was lucky enough to do just that and now I have a crazy hectic life filled with work, horses, housework and of course, Crafting!!
I one of those people who can't just sit still, and when i'm not making something i'm more than likely thinking about making something, or looking at what other people make. I also spend a lot of my time looking for exciting new products!
My Story
I love so many types of craft and can't remember a time when I didn't enjoy anything that involves being creative. My mum always encouraged me and I have always tinkered with making jewellery and even as a child spent all my pocket money on beads! I have a keen knowledge of sewing (I take in boat/auto re-upholstery in too alongside my craft business), love beading, wire weaving, micro macramé and polymer clay and i've tried my hand (or at least want to have a go) at pretty much any creative hobby you can think of.
I'm like a magpie and I think that is why I enjoy running my little craft shop so I can buy loads of pretty things knowing other people will enjoy them too 😊.

I have designed and built it myself to be as user friendly as possible as I know how frustrating it can be to not find what you had in mind.
