Japanese Miyuki seed beads are renowned for being one of the best quality seed beads available because they are very uniform in size and shape. These are a perfect choice for bead embroidery & using in bead looms you get very little wastage as you would with the irregular sizing of our glass seed beads. They are also usable with Toho beads with no discernable difference. 
 
11/0 - approximately 2mm in size with 1mm hole.

Abbreviation of finishes - some beads have multiple finishes. 
 
AB -  "aurora borealis" a beautiful shiny rainbow effect over the colour underneath.
SL - Silver lined - usually a transparent colour of bead with a gilt silver inside (where the hole is) Gives a metallic effect.
Opaque (or just described as Red/Black/Yellow etc) A solid colour with a slightly shiny finish.
Matte - same as opaque but not shiny. 
Frosted - a more matte apperance for a flat colour. Some are also silver lined.
Transparent - A see through colour.
Ceylon - a pearly finish over a slightly milky coloured bead.
Lustered - a pearl finish over an opaque bead
IC - inside colour, like silver lined, for instance a blue lined bead with a transparent aqua outer. Finishes can also vary in colour and price.
