Japanese Toho seed beads are renowned for being one of the best quality seed beads available because they are very uniform in size and shape. These are a perfect choice for bead embroidery & using in bead looms you get very little wastage as you would with the irregular sizing of our glass seed beads. 
 
11/0 - approximately 2mm in size with 1mm hole.

Abbreviation of finishes - some beads have multiple finishes. 
 
AB -  "aurora borealis" a beautiful shiny rainbow effect over the colour underneath.
SL - Silver lined - usually a transparent colour of bead with a gilt silver inside (where the hole is) Gives a metallic effect.
Opaque (or just described as Red/Black/Yellow etc) A solid colour with a slightly shiny finish.
Matte - same as opaque but not shiny. 
Frosted - a more matte apperance for a flat colour. Some are also silver lined.
Transparent - A see through colour.
Ceylon - a pearly finish over a slightly milky coloured bead.
Lustered - a pearl finish over an opaque bead
IC - inside colour, like silver lined, for instance a blue lined bead with a transparent aqua outer. Finishes can also vary.
